Out of My League

In 2002, I met a girl and fell in love. I was 21; she was 25 and out of my league. For 2 years I was in love, and simply could not get over it, try as I might.

After 2 years of heartache, I gave up and moved to a new apartment about 30 minutes away, and started hanging with a different crowd. I was still in love, but I figured, out of site, out of mind.

A few weeks after that, she admitted a crush on me (I think she was jealous of my new gf). I jumped at my opportunity, and we started dating a week before my 23rd birthday.
We’re getting married 2 weeks from now.

So, believe me or don’t, sometime this cheesy shit happens in real life, just like in lame romantic comedies. Hang in there, friends.
